Hawaii Considering Regulation for Home Inspectors

Hawaii is considering regulating the home inspection market. Currently there are no requirements for home inspectors to obtain licenses. Senator Will Espero is looking to change that, pushing for legislation requiring an inspectors exam and coursework to keep inspectors licensed and up to date on current practices.

Currently there are no license requirements for Hawaii home inspectors, but as always things can change and there is pressure in the state legislature to make it happen. We'll keep you updated.
